The #1 Appbot Alternative: Reviewflowz

Appbot provides a really neat experience, with tons of features around review management, such as templated answers, automated translations, an integration with Tableau, SSO, etc. If we’re honest we absolutely love what they’ve done with the UI, but the downside to all those complicated features is it makes the product a lot harder to use, and the price point is a bit steep for basic monitoring.

Reviewflowz is built more around keeping things simple, and giving unlimited access to your customer feedback: export every review (ever) to CSV in minutes, set up filtered notifications to a Slack channel or Webhook, and track any app, on any platform, in every language.

We work with high-volume app developers like Unacademy, Dyme App, Bounce, Bitstack, and more, as well as small indie app developers simply looking for a simple way to access customer reviews.

ReviewFlowz VS Appbot : Features

When looking at the core features you’d expect to find in a review monitoring tool, both AppBot & Reviewflowz fit the bill.

Reviewflowz actually brings a unique feature here, which is the review widget, allowing you to showcase a selection of customer reviews on your website, or anywhere you’d like.

To be fair, AppBot brings tons more features around automation but we feel this isn’t something you should focus on when working with customer feedback. Customer reviews are so valuable it makes sense to read them all. If that doesn’t sound reasonable, Appbot will probably be a better fit.

Why is Reviewflowz the best alternative to Appbot ?

While Appbot is an excellent tool when it comes to pure ASO, it falls a little short if you’re hoping for a more global approach to customer feedback & review management.

First, Appbot “merely” monitors your app store, play store, ms store, and amazon store reviews. While it might sound like that’s all you need, buyers are increasingly looking for additional reassurance and social proof before they pull the trigger.

If you run an actual business on top of your mobile applications, you likely have listings on review platforms like Trustpilot, Google Maps, or even specific platforms like Glassdoor, Capterra, or G2. Reviewflowz allows you to monitor and optimize for those reviews.

Second, if you’re considering Appbot simply to track App Store, and Play Store reviews, think again. You can do that for free forever on Reviewflowz.

Reviewflowz also lets you invite as many users as you’d like, including in the free plan, and provides an easy CSV export of all your past reviews so you can run all the analyses you wish on Excel or any BI tool.

If you’re looking at AppBot to set up simple yet powerful review management processes, Reviewflowz will likely be a better fit. But if you’re hoping to set up a fully automated, highly scalable review management engine, AppBot is probably the way to go.

What does reviewer information mean?

Depending on the platform, we're able to pull reviewer details such as their company, job title, and / or full name. On the premium plan, we give you unlimited access to this data and include it directly in the Slack notifications. No more looking through hundreds of tickets to find who left you that review. This can also come in handy for your sales team if you're tracking competitors.

What is a flow?

A flow defines a sequence of the two steps that are needed for us to get your reviews to your favourite Slack channel.
  • What listing or review profile do you want us to monitor (for example your favourite competitor's Capterra profile)
  • What Slack channel you want us to send new reviews to
With our listings finder, you can find all your listings by simply entering a domain, or decide to track them manually. Simply authenticate your Slack account next and an active flow will crawl the review profile and send any new review to your favourite Slack channel

What languages and countries do you support?

We support all languages and regions for all the supported platforms. Platforms may split reviews according to the language, the region, or both. In each case, we try to show as clearly as possible how to access all your reviews, and where those reviews can be seen. If you have a doubt please reach out over the chat or via email

How many Slack channels can I connect?

You can connect as many Slack channels as you wish, and send each review to one or many Slack channels. If you're sending the same review to 2 channels, it will count as two reviews sent.
